Marcos Jr. leading PH to possible ‘nuclear war’ due to EDCA sites—Ka Eric

ASIDE from the call for President Bongbong Marcos Jr. to undergo a drug test following a viral video allegedly showing him snorting illegal drugs, there is now also a call regarding the real reason behind the increase in EDCA sites in the country.

“The EDCA is an invitation to war because, whether admitted or not by the Armed Forces of the Philippines, it is a forward deployment of American military equipment related to Taiwan and its conflict with China,” Jeffrey “Ka Eric” Celiz SMNI Anchor said.

This is the sentiment of Jeffrey “Ka Eric” Celiz, an SMNI anchor and former intelligence officer of the CPP-NPA-NDF, regarding the potential outbreak of nuclear war due to U.S. military bases in the country.

This opinion emerged during a recent press conference by the Kingdom of Jesus Christ concerning Marcos’s ability to lead the country.

This is also due to his alleged series of wrong decisions for the nation. One of these is the country’s shift towards the United States in terms of foreign policy.

In 2023, the Marcos administration added four more EDCA sites to the five already in the country.

These new sites include Naval Base Camilio Osias in Santa Ana, Cagayan; Lal-lo Airport in Lal-Lo, Cagayan; Camp Melchor dela Cruz in Gamu, Isabela; and Balabac Island in Palawan.

The EDCA, or Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement, is an agreement allowing the United States to use Philippine military bases and other facilities.

Meanwhile, there are circulating reports that more than the four EDCA sites have been added by the Marcos administration, and the reason for this increase is to prepare the Philippines for a possible war with China due to the conflict over Taiwan.

However, the administration has denied this.

According to Marcos, the purpose is to defend the eastern part of the country and the EDCA sites might be used for humanitarian and relief efforts.

For Yna Mortel, also an SMNI anchor, this is unbelievable because no Americans were seen helping during recent disasters—suggesting that the real intention is for America to use the Philippines as a launching pad for war in Asia.

“Why build military bases here? They say it’s for humanitarian disaster response, but did you see even one American helping during the recent typhoon? No, right? So they’re making excuses when all they really want is to use the Philippines as a launch pad for the war they want in Asia. Political experts and geopolitical analysts say that in Asia, the Philippines is the next Ukraine,” Yna Mortel Anchor, SMNI said.

Because of this, the press conference also focused on the potential outbreak of nuclear war due to EDCA sites, highlighting data released by RJ Javellana of the Anti-Imperialist Movement.

According to Javellana, over two million and two hundred thousand people could be killed if EDCA sites are targeted by Chinese nuclear weapons.

Meanwhile, Mortel also emphasized that unlike the war between Russia and Ukraine, where 14 million displaced Ukrainians had places to go due to the landmass area, the Philippines would face extremely dire consequences.

“And if this war does happen, similar to what occurred in Ukraine where there are 14 million refugees scattered across various countries—since they have a landmass to seek refuge in—Filipinos, on the other hand, have nowhere else to go. The entire Filipino nation would face inevitable death,” Mortel added.
