Metro Manila roads reopen as floods subside—DPWH-NCR

AS of 8:00AM today, July 25, 2024, previously closed road sections in Metro Manila are now passable, as floods continuously subsides. Based on the latest situational report, sourced from the DPWH-NCR 9 District Engineering Offices, only the Lagusnilad Underpass (200cm deep) is still closed and not passable, while 14 road sections only have limited access.

Motorists are advised that the following 14 road sections are passable to light vehicles/other lanes passable, and are projected to fully subside as the day progresses:

  1. Tayuman corner Jose Abad Santos Avenue (10cm deep)
  2. Bonifacio Drive (NB) P. Burgos St., to 25th St. (20cm deep)
  3. Mac Arthur Highway, Brgy. Dalandanan, Valenzuela City (40cm deep)
  4. Gov. W. Pascual Ave., Sitio 6 to Sanciangco St., Malabon City (25cm deep)
  5. C. Arellano St., Paez St., to Sacristia St., Malabon City (40cm deep)
  6. Sanciango St., Francisco Compound to P. Aquino St., Malabon City (25cm deep)
  7. Don Basilio Bautista Blvd., Dampalit Bridge to JCT Womens Club, Malabon City (30cm deep)
  8. P. Aquino St., Sanciango St., to Everlasting Peace Memorial Park, Malabon City (25cm deep)
  9. P. Aquino St., Gen. Luna St. Intersection, Malabon City (30cm deep)
  10. C-4 Road, in front of Fishermall (10cm deep)
  11. JCT Women’s Club, Flores St. to Naval St. (15cm deep)
  12. M.H. Del Pilar St., corner E. Rodriguez St. (50cm deep)
  13. M.H. Del Pilar St., Yanga St. to San Vicente Village (50cm deep)
  14. M.H. Del Pilar St., Buenaventura St. to Arkong Bato (50cm deep)

The DPWH-NCR Maintenance crew are actively monitoring the roads; and continuously conducting declogging on drainage/waterways, and clearing operations to remove obstructions/hazards on affected roads.
