MSMEs product showcase at PEP Central Luzon highlights Zambales and Olongapo’s innovative products

A highlight of the Philippine Experience Program (PEP) Central Luzon Welcome Dinner is the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Product Showcase that brought together the best of Zambales and Olongapo City’s innovative and sustainable products. Delegates bought a vibrant array of items that showcased the region’s creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and support for the local economy.

The showcase featured a diverse selection, including eco-friendly bamboo cups and utensils from the Aeta Pamumulaklakin Forest Trail, handcrafted beaded slippers from Hyra’s Fashion Boutique, and sustainable skincare products like mango peel-based soaps and aroma-healing candles. Food lovers enjoyed treats such as Sonia’s Sweets’ sesame candies and cassava chips, as well as refreshing draft beer from Pinatubo Brewery.

Delegates also engaged with unique displays from Ocean Adventure, Zoobic Safari, and Birds in Focus, which highlighted Subic Bay’s rich biodiversity and adventure offerings. Meanwhile, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology presented meaningful, handcrafted products made by persons deprived of liberty, showcasing the agency’s deeper connection to community development and reformation.
