Pastor Apollo supports AFP in maintaining vigilance regarding possible recruitment of Hamas in Philippines

AFTER Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff General Romeo Brawner Jr. refuted the existence of conditions and recruitment of Hamas militants within the Muslim community in the Philippines, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy expressed agreement with the AFP’s assurance that they are not wasting any time in monitoring any suspicious activities, especially in specific locations in the country with a history of terrorism.

Brawner has also previously assured that they have yet to detect any terrorist activity arising from the calls of Hamas to join them in their cause and that all Philippine authorities are on alert and are on the lookout for any possible spillovers of the events happening in Gaza.

In his recent episode of “Spotlight” on SMNI, Pastor Apollo commended the AFP for their readiness to ensure the safety of the nation.

To recall, the AFP Chief made the remarks during his visit to Marawi City on October 17 to mark the 6th anniversary of the city’s liberation from ISIS-inspired terrorists.

Brawner said the AFP has yet to receive any intelligence reports regarding the entry of foreign terrorists into the country.

Pastor Apollo expressed his support to the AFP, He also called on Filipinos not to collaborate with radical groups who want to enter the Philippines.

According to Pastor Apollo, the best course of action for Filipinos is to pray for peace in Israel and Palestine, which is also for the benefit of everyone and the world.
