NAGKAISA ang national council officers ng ruling party PDP-Laban na kumbinsihin si Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte na tumakbong vice president sa 2022 election.
Sa meeting ng national council sa Cebu ngayong araw, isang resolusyon ang inaprubahan ng partido para atasan ang lahat ng miyembro nito na makiisa sa paghimok sa Presidente.
Hinihimok din ng partido si PRRD na mamili ng running mate sa posisyong Pangulo.
“May I move Mr. Chairman that this national council shall adopt a resolution following the early resolutions made by the different chapters and different local governments all over the country to convince the PDP Laban Party Chairman President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to run for Vice-President and to choose his running mate for President in the 2022 national election? I so move Mr. Chair,” pahayag ni Raul Lambino, Vice President for Internal Affairs.
Mahigit sa 150 party officers ang dumalo sa national council at suportado nila na mag-VP si PRRD.
Nauna nang nagsalita ang iba’t ibang chapter ng PDP Laban sa bansa na malakas ang hatak ng taumbayan para mag bise presidente si Pangulong Duterte sa susunod na halalan.

Ano naman kaya ang sagot dito ng Malakanyang?
Tanong: “Sir, what will make the President run as Vice President?”
“A message from God because he has left it to God,” ang tugon ni Presidential Spokesperson Secretary Harry Roque.
Tanong: How will he know, sir? How will he be getting that? What indicators, what clues will he be getting?
“Well, I guess, if the President thinks it is God’s will, he will make the proper announcement in due course,”ang sagot naman ni Roque.
“Well in that case, I guess I think I will encourage all members of PDP to pray to God that the President will accept the call for him for Vice President. But in the meantime we will continue gathering the support our grounds from our local leaders so that the President will probably heed to the call and make a supreme sacrifice so that we can continue the good administration that started by President Duterte,” pahayag ni Atty. Melvin Matibag, Acting Secretary General, PDP-Laban.
“If I may add something to that ano, if you read the PDP-Laban creed, the very first principle of the PDP-Laban creed is theism which is strong believe in God so ayun. Sinusunod lang ni Presidente Duterte yun. Yung principle ng theism. Naniniwala siya kung ano yung gusto ng Panginoong Diyos yun yung mangyayari,” ani Lambino.
