THE Philippine Army (PA) joined in the opening ceremony of Philippines-United States Combined Exercise “Balikatan” on April 22, 2024 at General Headquarters AFP, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
“Balikatan” is an annual joint and combined exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the United States Armed Forces Indo-Pacific Command (USAFIPC) aimed at strengthening the competencies of both forces in a spectrum of military operations.
Approximately 5,000 AFP personnel are set to engage in the Balikatan activities.
