THE Philippine Handball Federation Inc. men’s and women’s team made a courtesy visit to Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Chairman Richard E. Bachmann, Comm. Matthew “Fritz” P. Gaston, and Exec. Dir. Paolo Francisco C. Tatad today at Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
The team competed at the recently concluded 2025 Southeast Asian Beach Handball Championships in Suphanburi, Thailand. The men’s team won their first ever gold medal for the country while the women’s team secured third place.
They are looking to compete at the 10th Asian Men’s and Women’s Beach Championship which will be held in Muscat, Oman this coming May 1-10, 2025. This competition will serve as a qualification to the World Handball Championships at Germany in January 2027.
