Politicians will regret harassment against Pastor ACQ and SMNI—Atty. Roque

Atty. Harry Roque has declared that politicians will regret the harassment against Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy and SMNI.

IN February 1986, millions of Filipinos gathered and united on Epifanio de los Santos Avenue, or EDSA.

They carried a singular goal – to oust then-President Ferdinand Marcos Sr.

The united voice of the people at that time was successful and is now engraved in history.

In 2024, will such an event happen again?

The planned revocation of SMNI’s franchise, harassment against Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, and the numerous problems the Philippines is facing are the reasons why thousands of Filipinos are rallying daily at Liwasang Bonifacio, Manila.

According to former Malacañang Spokesperson Atty. Harry Roque, politicians will regret the abuses against innocent Filipinos.

He stated that Filipinos now know which politicians they disdain due to ongoing harassment.

‘‘That will be regretted by politicians because our… is Andres Bonifacio, and they know that Filipinos will detest those who violate rights, detest those who oppress races, detest those who kill democracy,’’ according to Atty. Harry Roque, Former Presidential Spokesperson.

Roque added that what the current government is doing against the good pastor can be considered a miracle because, at last, those who genuinely love the Philippines are showing their patriotism.

‘‘They thought that filing a case against Pastor is the end of it. What they don’t know that it is the miracle we have been waiting for,’’ Atty. Roque added.

And, to prevent more people from harboring resentment towards the government, Atty. Harry has advice for politicians in power.

‘‘Oh well, those who harass people should also think— because if they don’t think, they are making the people be in favor of those they oppress,’’ Roque stated.
