VICE President and Education Sara Duterte gladly welcomes the University of Mindanao Political Science Department in their invitation to be the guest of honor for their Timon Festival of Political Science Students at UM Bolton last April.
In her message,
“These young people aim to lead, be lawyers and be advocates of the nation’s aspirations towards prosperity.”
The vice president emphasized the students that unity and willingness to change the hardships of the society is one of their responsibilities.
“Unity and our willingness to change the hardships of the society is one of our responsibilities as a youth of the country.”
“The example that students have shown that education is very beneficial to lift their lives from poverty has become proof in our appeal. Once again, I am reminded that the key to a bright future is to graduate,” VP Sara expressed.
She also reminded that as leaders one day, avoid being deceived by the opponents of the government, and fight the threat of criminality, terrorism, and insurgency of the country.
