AS part of the 77th pre-anniversary activities, the Philippine Air Force (PAF) kicked off its series of anniversary exhibits at SM City Iloilo, Iloilo City on April 26, 2024, hosted by the Tactical Operations Wing Central through the Tactical Operations Group 6.
Open to the public until April 28, the exhibit showcases the PAF’s diverse capabilities. Visitors can explore exhibits on territorial defense, air and maritime domain awareness, combat support, humanitarian assistance, and disaster response.
The opening ceremony featured a demonstration by the K-9 team from the Special Operations Wing, showcasing their capabilities and skills. Additionally, the PAF provided the audience some experience in the use of training equipment such as desktop flight simulators. For those aspiring individuals, a recruitment booth was placed to answer questions and guide them through the ongoing recruitment process.
Adding a touch of fun, CPT AGUILA, a PAF mascot and BGEN ANGELITO, mascot of the 505th Search and Rescue Group, were present to meet and greet mall-goers, spreading cheer and enthusiasm throughout the event.
