7 fishermen safely rescued from half-submerged banca in Pangasinan

THE seven rescued fishermen of half-submerged fishing banca (FBCA) “Faith Natanniel,” safely arrived at the shoreline of Barangay Cato, Infanta, Pangasinan, on 28 December 2024.

On 24 December 2024, FBCA Carme Badeth 1 rescued the seven fishermen approximately 90 nautical miles west of Agno, Pangasinan.

On 27 December 2024, the rescued fishermen were transferred to FBCA Dexter Zam while FBCA Prince Nathan 1 towed FBCA Faith Natanniel.

The Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Infanta and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Infanta rendered necessary assistance upon arrival at Barangay Cato.

They rescued fishermen were turned over to their families in good physical condition.
