PCG commends BRP Bagacay crew for humanitarian mission

PHILIPPINE Coast Guard (PCG) recognizes BRP Bagacay (MRRV-4410) crew who participated in the humanitarian mission for Filipino fishermen in Bajo de Masinloc.

Along with the docking of the ship in Port Area, Manila, yesterday, 02 May 2024, PCG Officer-in-Charge, CG Vice Admiral Rolando Lizor Punzalan Jr, awarded the “Coast Guard Merit Medal and Ribbon” to the Coast Guardians who bravely took such initiative in fulfillment of their duty to In the town.

The PCG Officer-in-Charge also personally greeted CG Captain Jane Gesulgon, the captain of BRP Bagacay (MRRV-4410), who ensured the mission was accomplished and the 38 PCG personnel crew of the ship will remain safe.

Also included Coast Guard District National Capital Region – Central Luzon (CGCRS) Commander, CG Rear Admiral Armando Balilo, and Coast Guard Civil Relations Service (CGDNCR-CL) Commander, CK Commodore Arnaldo Lim, in giving tribute to outstanding Coast Guardians.
