THE Civil-Military Operations Regiment sent off the CMO “Bughaw” Platoon as part of the contingent for the inaugural large-scale Combined Arms Training Exercise (CATEX) “Katihan” in Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija.
The send-off ceremony took place at the CMOR facade, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, on March 6, 2024.
The CMO “Bughaw” stands for Building Unity for Growth and Harmony, as Ardent Warrior embodies the three (3) pillars of a CMO Operator: Psychological Operations, Civil Affairs, and Public Affairs, which will demonstrate the capabilities of a CMO Operator.
In a statement, Brig. Gen. Benjamin L. Hao, Commander, CMOR, PA, expressed that the unit’s involvement in the CATEX “Katihan” showcases the abilities and expertise of the CMO soldiers in winning the hearts and minds of the people.
CATEX “Katihan” will showcase the Army’s commitment to continuously improve its readiness and capabilities to better serve and protect the Filipino people.
