DEPARTMENT of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Amenah F. Pangandaman joined a meeting led by Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Enrique A. Manalo on various matters concerning the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
Held today, August 16, 2024, the meeting covered the establishment of the DFA Consular Office in BARMM, the guidelines on Official Development Assistance (ODA) loans and foreign grants to the region, and the administration and supervision of Hajj operations led by the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos.
Also present at the meeting were Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU) Secretary Carlito G. Galvez Jr., BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Balawag Ebrahim, and other DFA, DBM, OPAPRU, and BARMM officials.
