FOR the second year in a row, Tripadvisor’s 2023 Travellers’ Choice ‘Best of the Best’ Awards ranked Dubai as the most popular destination in the world.
Tripadvisor’s top ten most-loved destinations for 2023 consist of Dubai, followed by Bali, London, Rome, Paris, Cancun, Crete, Marrakech, Dominican Republic, and Istanbul.
Results of the ranking were based on ‘millions’ of ‘real and unbiased’ reviews by visitors over 12 months.
According to the travel guide company, the most popular destinations in the emirate include the world’s tallest building Burj Khalifa, Dubai Fountain, Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark, Burj Al Arab, Dubai Miracle Garden, and Global Village, among others.
The multicultural city is home to some of the most luxurious hotels, shopping centers, restaurants, desert safaris, water sports, golfing to world-class spas, to name a few.
Apart from its exciting attractions, the global business hub displays a vibrant and diverse economy.
Last year, Emirati rulers launched the UAE 2031 vision, which aims to accelerate the nation’s growth, strengthen the UAE’s foreign relations worldwide, and enhance its international presence in the next decade.
