BEFORE flying back to Davao City, the players of Jose Maria College Foundation Inc. (JMCFI) Kings visited the SMNI news headquarters in Makati City on Saturday, June 17.
For the first time, the entire team, along with their coach and other staff had seen the state-of-the-art facilities of SMNI.
They were delighted to be greeted by a led screen message before taking a tour.
Among the places they visited were the TV studio where SMNI programs are produced and the radio station, DZAR 1026 Manila.
Coach Cagampang shared their experience going head-to-head with the FEU Tamaraws.
Although they were unsuccessful in the 16th Preseason Cup of the Philippine Collegiate Champions’ League (PCCL) in San Juan City, coach said the whole team learned a valuable lesson that they will surely bring back home to Davao City.
San Juan City game marked JMCFI Kings’ first participation in a national competition, and they did not waste the opportunity to showcase their basketball skills.
The kings also expressed their deep appreciation to Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, the founding chairman of Jose Maria College, for his unwavering support.
Recently, Pastor Apollo provided the players with new branded shoes to further inspire them in their games.
The JMCFI Kings is representing Visayas and Mindanao after winning the VisMin Regional Champion of the PCCL.
