BRINGING pride to Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc., Grade 5 student Xaiyen Zoe V. Maglente delivered a stellar performance at the 18th National Kyokushin Karate Weight Category Championships, held on December 14, 2024, at the People’s Palace Gymnasium, Cotabato City, BARMM.
Representing IKO Davao in the Kumite Girls 9-10 Years Old category, Maglente triumphed over tough opponents in two consecutive matches, ultimately claiming the Championship title. Her victory is a testament to her exceptional skill, discipline, and dedication to the art of Kyokushin karate.
“I’m grateful for this opportunity to make my school and dojo proud,” Maglente shared, thanking her coaches and family for their unwavering support.
This golden achievement also grants Maglente the honor of representing the Philippines 🇵🇭in the upcoming International Karate Friendship 2025 in Japan 🇯🇵and other international competitions under the IKO Kyokushin banner. Her success not only highlights her talent but also inspires her peers at Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc. to aim for excellence.
