A minister from the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) couldn’t help but refute the testimony of a veiled witness in Sen. Risa Hontiveros’ committee hearing. In an unexpected manner, the minister turned the witness’ grave accusations against Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy into a comedy.
Carlo Catiil, a Kingdom of Jesus Christ minister made a mockery of alias David’s testimony which he gave during a Senate committee hearing in February.
“You know Mrs. Chair, I’m finding it difficult to breathe because these are the props you’ve provided me, Mrs. Chair.”
“Where is my script? My script is missing. This one. Please pass it”.
“Here’s my script, Mrs. Chair. Let me borrow. Let me borrow. I was abused, Mrs. Chair. I’m sorry for being emotional. There’s even matching shaking,” Carlo Catiil, Hawaii Minister, Kingdom of Jesus Christ stressed.
All jokes aside, the said member or worker of KOJC refuted the accusations of alias David, a former member who left the congregation.
It can be remembered that alias David gave his testimony during a Senate committee hearing in February 19th, 2024.
In his testimony, he accused Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy of having him locked up, maltreated, having put chilies in his eyes, mouth and pubic area. He claims that his head was even banged during the last week of October in the year of 2009.
Catiil revealed alias David’s identity who is known as Junjun Tirao.
In response to alias David’s accusations against Pastor Quiboloy, Catiil asked in his vlog that if these were true, why would he even send a message to a KOJC coordinator to ask for help in returning to the good Pastor’s congregation.
“Didn’t he say that he was abused? He was maltreated, right? Abused, maltreated, had chilies put in his eyes, mouth, and private part down there. Right? There. I think that was 2009. Ok. You said you were maltreated. You were even crying. Here, my brothers and sisters, why is it that in 2016, you texted a coordinator in General Santos City – Sister Cherry, to tell her that you wanted to come back? Return to the service of being a fulltime miracle worker. My brothers and sisters, this was the conversation – just so we can see. This was the conversation. Here. That’s your name, right, Alias David? You are Junjun Tirao? Your real name is alias Tirao III. This was your conversation. Here, you were insisting to come back to the Kingdom,” Catiil added.
In a screenshot of a Facebook messenger conversation in June 23rd, 2016, it can be seen that Tirao said he wanted to come back to Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy’s congregation.
It can also be seen in the conversation that even before Tirao communicated with the Kingdom of Jesus Christ coordinator, he had apparently already written a letter to the congregation’s headquarters – one of the protocols in KOJC for everyone who has left but then wishes to return.
However, Catiil also asked alias ‘David’ and Senator Hontiveros.
“If you were really abused, Alias David – Junjun Tirao… If you were really abused, if you really had chilies put in your eyes – you could be blind by now – if it’s true that you had chilies put in your mouth and your pubic area, and you were screaming because you were locked up for five hours… You were describing in great detail… If you were really abused and maltreated – that was your term, ok – you were “maltreated”. Why in 2016, you wanted to come back to the Kingdom as a fulltime miracle worker? Here. This was your conversation.
“Look at this my fellow citizens, what a liar this alias David is. He even cried because there’s a higher payment when there are tears, shaking – it really seems true. But look, how will you answer this? Answer this. Senator Risa Hontiveros, how can you reconcile this?” he added.
Tirao even added that he wanted to work in the Kingdome, a 75,000-seating capacity indoor cathedral as a welder even if he doesn’t get paid as long as he can return to KOJC.
Meanwhile, the KOJC minister advised that if lies were to be said then at least make it believable.
“Damn it, Junjun. Junjun Tirao, alias David. Wow…your lies are to the max, to the next level. Then in 2016, you wanted to come back? What is that? You wanted to have chilies put on you again? You wanted to be beaten up and locked up again because that was your accusation – that you were maltreated here. You were beaten up. You were locked up, Junjun Tirao,” he added.
“Is there someone who was abused that way that would want to come back? What do you call that?”
“When making a script, make it believable.”
“You scriptwriters. My brothers and sisters, do you see? Do a better job. At least make it believable. If you’re going to lie anyway, make it believable,” he said.
Catiil stressed that the witnesses in Senator Risa Hontiveros’ committee hearing against Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy are afraid to go to court because they have no evidence.
Meanwhile, here’s Catiil’s last message in the said vlog…
“The truth will really prevail no matter what insult, no matter what lies, the truth will eventually come out. That was just a taster. You want us to reveal all your text messages?”
“I have many good cards here. We’ve already prepared it,” he said.
