PHILIPPINE Ambassador to China is expected to play a significant role in resolving the West Philippine Sea dispute, according to International lawyer and Former presidential spokesperson, Atty. Harry Roque.
This is the reaction of former Presidential Spokesperson Atty. Harry Roque regarding the decision of President Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos, Jr. to formulate a new strategy to address the dispute in the contested territory of the West Philippine Sea.
It can be recalled that President Marcos shunned the proposal send Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian back to Beijing following the latest tensions in the disputed territory.
Roque expressed satisfaction that Pres. Marcos noticed that the Philippine government’s actions were not effective.
Meanwhile, Roque suggested solutions regarding the territorial dispute in the West Philippine Sea.
