THERE was a coordination meeting between the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) and Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) headed by PPA General Manager Jay Santiago partner PCG Southern Tagalog at the Port Management Office (PMO) of Batangas today, March 20, year 2024.
The center of the said meeting was the preparation of the said agencies for the upcoming Holy Week commemoration.
PPA GM Santiago instructed that there should be a meeting between partner agencies and stakeholders of the pier every day this Holy Week to know each other’s duties.
“On the day, in the morning, at the start of the trip, the PPA and PCG should talk so that at least on the ATI side, operation side, you know who is the duty on the ground. Every morning we should know what are the challenges we can face,” said PPA GM Jay Santiago.
