SEN. Cynthia Villar supports the Lakbay Palay 2024 Dry Season hosted by DA-PhilRice Negros held at PhilRice Negros Center, Barangay Cansilayan, Murcia Negros Occidental.
Sen. Villar sent an inspirational message to the farmers and highlighted the program Palaysikatan where farmers are taught to use certified national or regional seeds coupled with appropriate crop management practices.
The purpose is to lower the cost of production while enhancing yield efficiency through rice-based production technology.
