TO ensure the safety and security of Foreign and Local Tourist visiting the Province of Aklan and as part of the Oplan Biyaheng Ayos: Semana Santa 2024, Coast Guard Station Aklan under the leadership of CG LtJg. John Laurence D. Banzuela, conducted inspection of tourist boat and provided Baywatch Patrol along the beautiful shoreline of Boracay Island.
This initiative aims to enhance emergency preparedness and response capabilities as well as to oversee the safety of all water-based recreational activities during Semana Santa.
With the influx of both foreign and local tourists availing and enjoying the water sports activities, the Coast Guard plays a vital role in monitoring the operational safety standards of these activities.
