Bagging the Flavors of Love, DOT hailed as Kusina Warriors champ!

DEPARTMENT of Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco on June 12 took part in the 3-day celebration of Philippine Independence Day, capping off with the Kusina Warrior Cooking Show at Burnham Green in Quirino Grandstand.

DOT Secretary  on Wednesday (June 12) took part in the three-day celebration of Philippine Independence Day, capping off with the Kusina Warrior Cooking Show where she joined other government officials in showcasing their skill in cooking and their love for Filipino flavors at Burnham Green in Quirino Grandstand.

The event is centered around celebrating the passion for upscaling the Filipino palate. Led by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), alongside the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Department of Agriculture (DA), the cooking show encourages Filipinos to take on the challenge of making a twist on time cherished dishes such as Adobo and Pancit.

The Tourism Chief participated in the challenge by preparing the Filipino favorite merienda with her own twist called the Pancit Bam-I de Cebu hailed as best among the best. The dish is one of the many sumptuous flavors that proudly represents Cebu gastronomy, reflecting the heritage and character of the Philippines.
