THE City Government of Davao, through the Davao City Social Welfare Development Office (CSWDO) and the City Health Office (CHO), continues to provide immediate assistance to the Barangay 2-A fire victims.
As of Monday, the CSWDO was able to provide modular tents, a mobile kitchen, psychological first aid, personal hygiene kits, blankets, food, and non-food items, and started the validation for financial assistance to Barangay 2-A fire victims.
The CHO also provided medical assistance to injured survivors and one severely injured person was rushed to the Southern Philippines Medical Center and is already stable. The CSWDO also provided wake and burial assistance to the families of two teenagers who died in the fire.
A donation drive for the fire victims is also being conducted with Rizal Park as a drop-off point.
