CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City— The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of of Staff, General Romeo S. Brawner Jr. administered the donning of ranks ceremony to ten Flag Officer, Generals and Senior Officers, yesterday.
Philippine Navy’s Flag Officer in Command Rear Admiral Jose Ma. Ambrosio Q. Ezpeleta donned the rank of Vice Admiral while Major General Antonio G. Nafarrete was elevated to the rank of Lieutenant General.
Meanwhile, promoted to the rank of Major General were Brigadier General Llewillyn S. Banaag and Brigadier General Lloyd S Cabacuñgan.
Also promoted to the next higher rank were: Colonel Isidro Alex C. Urriquia, Colonel George P. Cabreros, Colonel Francisco Domingo R. Fernandez, Colonel Harold Anthony F. Pascua, Navy Captain Charles Merric A. Villanueva, and Colonel Patrick B. De Villa.
The ceremony served as a formal recognition of the officers’ exemplary service and contributions to the Armed Forces of the Philippines, representing a significant career milestone.
”Today you stand as beacons of excellence in our organization. Your promotions are not just an acknowledgement of your accomplishment but most importantly a call to greater service,” General Brawner said.
