THE Department of Education (DepEd) officially opened the National Science and Technology Fair (NSTF) 2024 in Parañaque City.
The theme “Rebuilding Resilient Communities: Embracing Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future,” the contest featured 120 science projects by 230 student-researchers from 16 participating regions in the country.
“As you immerse yourselves into today’s activities, we urge you to think beyond the fair. Think about how your innovations can be applied in the real world, how they can serve as building blocks for resilient communities that will stand the test of time,” said Assistant Secretary for Curriculum and Teaching Janir T. Datukan.
“We encourage you to consider all sectors of society including agriculture, health, nutrition, education, energy, disaster preparedness, environmental protection when planning, designing, and developing your future projects,” he added.
