DSWD-NCR launched the community registration for the scale up implementation of Walang Gutom 2027 Program in Tondo, Manila.
The program aims to register at least 1,097 indigent residents within the area of Tondo, Manila which will continue in the following days until August 9, 2024.
At the same time, a Philsys registration is being conducted by the Philippine Statistics Office for a unified identification which is also effective for easier implementation and access of social welfare services.
The Walang Gutom 2027 Program provides its beneficiaries with access to monetary-based assistance through Electronic Based Transfer (EBT) Cards as a tool alleviate hunger and promote nutritional education to Filipino households.
