NAGLABAS ng opisyal na pahayag ukol sa naging pagbisita sa China si dating Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Naglabas ng opisyal na pahayag si FPRRD ukol sa naging pagbisita nito sa bansang China noong buwan ng Hulyo.
Sa programang “Gikan sa Masa Para sa Masa” ni dating Pangulong Duterte kasama si Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, naglabas ito ng kaniyang eksklusibong pahayag ukol sa naging pagbisita sa China.
Inihayag din ng dating Pangulo ang mga napag-usapan nito kasama si Pres. Xi Jinping sa Beijing at pumunta ito sa China para sa isang pribadong pagbisita.
“Well, actually I went there for a private visit with you, kaya lang the invitation to meet the President Xi Jinping was limited to the government people, and so there was this protocol officers of mine during that time and pati ‘yung si Atty. Medialdea who was the executive secretary also during my time.”

Xi Jinping defined our discussion solely on friendship and our wishes for the country’s benefit, mutual, I was waiting for the opening of more or less sensitive issues but hindi nangyari yon, you know what? Dating Pangulong Duterte, hindi hahayaang mapasok ang Pilipinas sa gulong walang katuturan
Nilinaw nito kay Xi na hindi parte ang Pilipinas ng hindi pagkakaunawaan ng Estados Unidos at China kahit na kaalyado ng bansa ang Estados Unidos.
Binigyang diin din nito na bilang dating presidente, hindi niya papayagang masali ang bansa sa gulo na wala naman itong mapapala.
“I humbly told Pres. Xi Jinping, we are not part of this large conflict between you and the United States, while we are allied with the US, it does not go beyond starting a war on other country. And I would like to say that as a former President, I would not allow my country to be embroiled in a war that is not a war of our own making if we have no interest, national interest protects at all.”
Iyan ang sinabi ko sa kanya na hindi naman po kami nakikipag-away sa inyo. We are just a very small republic in Southeast Asia and we do not go around the bannering any claims or we are not claiming any territory and we don’t have interest to participate in this kind of dispute. We do not need it,” giit ni FPRRD.
Ani Duterte, ipinarating niya kay Xi na ang tanging hangarin ng bansa ay maayos na ugnayang pang-ekonomiya at pang-istruktura.
Ipinaliwanag din nito kay Xi na nais lamang ng bansa na magkaroon ng mapayapang relasyon sa mga karatig nitong bansa gaya ng China.
“I only wish to continue the good relations so that we can have trade relations, expand on it, and perhaps, talk things that could benefit at two countries in terms of infrastructure and the mutual understanding of peaceful dimensions of our relationship. Ang sinabi ko na hindi kami naghahanap ng away at ayaw namin. Hindi namin kaya. We cannot afford it because simply, we are just a little, a minor player in the South East Asian group of countries. It’s just plainly, sinabi ko sa kanya, we just want to exist peacefully, develop, maybe, at higher pace, to catch up with the rest of the world and to have good relationships with everybody,” saad pa ni FPRRD.
Samantala, inihayag naman ni Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy na dumalo rin sila sa dedication ceremony ng isang gusali ng isang kolehiyo sa ina ng dating Pangulo na si Soledad Roa Duterte na matatagpuan naman sa Fujian, China.

Matatandaan na kasama ni dating Pangulong Duterte si Pastor Apollo sa Beijing pero ito ay nagtungo roon para ayusin ang mga kinakailangan na materyales para sa konstruksiyon sa King Dome Project nito sa Davao City na tinagurian namang ‘biggest indoor cathedral in the world’.
