Mel Lopez Blvd/R-10 to undergo rehab; DPWH-NMDEO to fast-track completion

STARTING yesterday August 7, 2024, the Department of Public Works and HighwaysNorth Manila District Engineering Office will conduct drainage construction, along the sidewalk of Mel Lopez Boulevard/R-10 southbound, near Pacheco Street.

On the other hand, road reblocking works will start on August 9, 2024, at 11:00 PM on its southbound lanes with a total length of 403.40 linear meters in between PPA (Pacheco Gate – Moriones Gate); and northbound lane with a total length of 261.90 linear meters in between Zaragosa Street – Pacheco Street, requiring partial road closure of R-10.

Motorists are advised of traffic slowdowns in the affected areas, and to use possible alternative routes. Rest assured that the lanes will be opened immediately after the construction activities, estimated to be completed by October 31, 2024.

This project is part of DPWH-NCR’s commitment to improving road safety and efficiency in the National Capital Region.
