PHILIPPINE Sports Commission (PSC) Chairman Richard Bachmann shared the projects and programs of the agency lined up for 2025 during his appearance on the PSC Hour at the Radyo Pilipinas 2 Sports.
The agency, which will celebrate its 35th year of service to Filipino athletes on January 24, is keen on the progress of infrastructures including the upgrade of dormitory facilities in PhilSports Complex, renovation of the Rizal Baseball Stadium, 12-storey multi-purpose facility, and the 7-storey Athletes’ Dormitory at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
Additionally, full support of the PSC to upcoming international events will be on full swing such as the Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China on February; the South East Asian (SEA) Games in Thailand on December; the Asian Youth Games in Bahrain on October, and the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (AIMAG) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, among others.
The sports agency chief also targets to expand its grassroots platform with the conduct of its flagship programs Philippine National Games and Batang Pinoy, and the continuous collaboration with the National Sports Associations for executing a youth developmental program.
