Special Enlistees take oath as new members of the Philippine Navy

41 Special Enlistees proudly took their oath as the newest members of the Philippine Navy on January 27, 2024, at Bonifacio Naval Station, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

These individuals were selected for their exceptional qualifications and skills to address the immediate needs of the Navy. Unlike regular recruits, Special Enlistees are not required to undergo a pre-entry course before enlistment but must complete it within their first three years of service. This ensures they are fully prepared to contribute to the Navy’s mission while utilizing their expertise to serve the nation.

During the ceremony, Captain Ariel S Palisoc PN, Commander, Navy Personnel Management Center, delivered an inspiring message, saying,

“You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.” He reminded the enlistees that this moment marks the beginning of their journey and urged them to embrace it with dedication and passion for service.
