JUST recently a significant event took place from October 10 to October 12 and was highlighted by the culmination of the 23rd Kanduli Festival.
The celebration was made even more special as it recognized the founding anniversary of Lutayan and saw the attendance of all officials of Sultan Kudarat.
TESDA Secretary Suharto Pax Mangudadatu, Governor Datu Pax Ali Mangudadatu, Vice Governor Raden Sakaluran, Mayor Datu Pax Mangudadatu, Vice Mayor Prince Raden Sakaluran, and 1st District Congresswoman Rihan Sakaluran Abdurajak were among those present.
During their speech, the key officials looked back in the early days of their service in Lutayan and Sultan Kudarat.
In the said event, the current TESDA Secretary and the former governor of Sultan Kudarat Secretary Suharto Teng Mangudadatu expressed his belief that the event played a crucial role in strengthening unity in Lutayan.
Governor Datu Pax Ali Mangudadatu also expressed gratitude for the success and ongoing unity not only in Lutayan but throughout Sultan Kudarat.
The celebration featured several highlights, including the “Tawag ng Tanghalan” competition, where Lutayanons showcased their singing talents. The event was made even more significant as Governor Pax Mangudadatu himself celebrated his birthday during the evening celebration with fellow countrymen in Lutayan.
Also, Lutayanons express their gratitude to the Mangudadatu family for their exceptional governance and compassion.
