Thailand to host three-day summit on global energy security, green technologies

AS countries worldwide keep an eye on their respective renewable energy targets, thousands of professionals and conference delegates will fly to Thailand to participate in the Future Energy Asia Exhibition & Summit next week.

The summit is scheduled from May 15 to 17, 2024, at Bangkok’s Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.

The international gathering will bring together approximately more than 20,000 visionaries, experts, and regional decision-makers from more than 70 countries as well as hundreds of companies.

The conference will focus on themes that will define Asia’s energy future, such as the transition towards carbon neutrality and exploring hydrogen and ammonia as alternative fuels.

As the event host, Thailand will share its practical energy policies and innovative green technologies.

The delegates will witness Thailand’s future plans when it comes to advancements in solar, wind, and bioenergy solutions.

The gathering will also highlight Thailand’s commitment and critical role in promoting inclusive and sustainable energy in the region.

Thailand pledged to increase its share of renewable electricity to 74 percent by 2050 and achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2065.
