THE Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines, in partnership with the Department of Tourism Region 3, successfully hosted a familiarization tour for its members in Bataan and Pampanga from 27 to 30 May 2024.
The four-day tour welcomed 21 participants who explored the region’s natural and cultural treasures. Highlights included the therapeutic and scenic Puning Hot Spring and the beautifully restored Spanish-Filipino houses at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar. The group also enjoyed a culinary immersion into traditional Kapampangan dishes at Apag Marangle, enriching their understanding of the local cuisine.
Additionally, a B2B session with local stakeholders was conducted to strengthen relationships and expand the TPB members’ network of tourism professionals.
TPB’s familiarization tour aims to highlight the region’s best spots and assist tourism stakeholders in crafting immersive tour packages to attract travelers.
