TWO United Kingdom royal navy minesweeper vessels hit each other in the Persian Gulf as reports say one ship backed into the other.
In a video capturing the incident, the HMS Chiddingfold can be seen slamming into the bow of the Sandown-Class Minehunter HMS Bangor.
The result of this was a giant hole in the Bangor’s hull.
A British military spokesperson said that they are aware of the incident concerning the two mine hunters and that they are still conducting investigation.
Meanwhile, reports citing a military source said that teams would be sent to review the damage and make a plan for repairs.
