THE Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said that it had notified the family of a mother, and two young children held hostage by Hamas in Gaza.

According to Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, 32-year-old Shiri Bibas and her children, 4-year-old Ariel and 10-month-old Kfir, were killed in an Israeli strike during the war in the Gaza Strip.

However, it did not say when this incident had allegedly occurred.

Benny Gantz on Wednesday night said that he did not know if the claim was true or just a psychological warfare, and that they will continue to seek intelligence and other indications to determine its veracity.

The Bibas family, composing of Shiri and her husband, Yarden, as well as their children Ariel and Baby Kfir, were supposed to be a part of the hostage exchange between Israel and Hamas, however, the latter said that they had been transferred by Hamas to a smaller Palestinian group in the southern city of Khan Younis.
