PRIME Minister Srettha Thavisin‘s combined monthly income as Prime Minister and the finance minister totaled 125,590 baht.
A spokesman for the Prime Minister said he plans to donate the funds to foundations to assist those in need.
The spokesman pointed out that this approach is quicker than relying solely on the regular legislative system in the parliament.
A working team will be assigned to select the foundations that will receive the prime minister’s donations, starting with the Foundation for Children as the first beneficiary.
Besides donating his salary, the Prime Minister also plans to meet various charity foundations to give listen to their problems and look for solutions.
