China, Japan, South Korea agree resume trilateral leaders’ summit

THE top diplomats of three neighboring countries Japan, South Korea, and China, agreed to strengthen their trilateral cooperation and agreed on holding a summit.

This was revealed by Japanese Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa at the in-person foreign ministerial talks in Busan City.

According to Kamikawa, they have discussed the latest launch of North Korea’s spy-satellite launch.

To recall, the 3 foreign ministers stopped talking in person in December 2019, and it was prolonged due to the COVID-19 pandemic

Meanwhile, Kamikawa agreed with South Korean Foreign Minister Park Jin and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in deepening the trilateral cooperation in various sectors including public health, trade, and security.
