ISUSULONG sa Philippine House of Representatives ang pagkakaroon ng urgent funding laban sa ransomware attacks.
Ito’y matapos mabiktima ng hacking ang website ng Kamara nitong Linggo dahilan para maparalisa ang access dito.
Saad ni House Appropriations Panel Chair at Ako-Bicol Party-list Rep. Zaldy Co, makikipag-ugnayan sila sa Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) para dito.
Ani Co, nakita nila sa liderato ang matinding pangangailangan sa budget ng DICT vs ransomware attacks lalo’t nabiktima rin nito ang PhilHealth, PSA, at DOST.
“For the continuing ransomware attacks, we convey to the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) the urgent need for additional funds for the DICT and government agencies being attacked and vulnerable to cyberattacks,” ani Co.
