Philippine Friendship Fair 2023, held in Nagoya, Japan

THE Philippine Friendship Fair 2023 opens in Nagoya, Japan, to promote the culture, tradition, and tourism of the Philippines, not only to Filipinos here in the country—but most especially to the Japanese people.

The said event was attended by various guests, including Philippine Ambassador to Japan Maylene Garcia-Albano, Chubu Philippine Friendship Association chairman Linda Taki, Deputy Consul General in Nagoya Jerome Castro, Tourism Attachè Jerome Diaz, and other government representatives.

Taki said the members were excited about the event because it had not been held for a long time.

Diaz also presented the “Bisita, Be My Guest,”  a program by the Philippine Department of Tourism (DOT).

Ambassador Albano shared that they were given the opportunity to host Davao City Mayor Sebastian ‘Baste’ Duterte‘s visit to Osaka and Tokyo.

The ambassador is inviting the Filipino community in Japan to join in the said event.

Deputy Consul General in Nagoya also gave his greetings.

The Philippine friendship fair is an annual event held in Aichi prefecture to display and promote the culture, tradition, and tourism of the Philippines, together with its partnership with Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, SBI Remit, and other organizations.
