UAE President hold talks with Turkiye’s Erdogan over regional security

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan have engaged in talks anew just a few weeks after their last meeting in Dubai.

The telephone call focused on strengthening regional security as well as bilateral cooperation in investment, trade, energy, technology, and sustainable development.

Both leaders also discussed regional and international topics as well as issues of mutual interest.

Before their latest conversation, Erdoğan and Sheikh Mohammed met in Dubai about two weeks ago on the sidelines of the World Government Summit, where they signed potentially $50 billion worth of cooperation deals.

The Turkish leader also signed 13 deals worth 50.7 billion dollars in July of last year.

Erdoğan has strengthened ties with Gulf states, including the UAE, since getting reelected last year.
